Biology and Medicine Workshop at the Eighth Sino-American Engineering Technology Forum will be sponsored by State Administration of Foreign Affairs of the P.R. of China and Ministry of Science and Technology of the P.R. of China and be organized by Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu provincial, which will be held in Taizhou , Jiangsu province and scheduled on May 25, 2009.

The Biology and Medicine Workshop will center on national major projects of science and technology, especially priorities of development formulated in National Development Outline of Science and Technology. Specifically speaking, biotechnologies such as cancer study and communicable diseases will be discussed at the workshop. It is estimated that more than 200 participants will take part in the meeting, including over 20 American experts and about 30 Chinese experts.
